The statement seemed to be aimed at former deputy Chief Minister KS Eshwarappa who had been publicly criticising BSY. Addressing his party cadre during the meeting of the office bearers, he said, “However senior might be the leaders, such activities will not be tolerated,".he said. Pointing out to the dissidence in the Congress and the JD(S), he said small issues were being blown out of proportion by some leaders. He said those unhappy with the appointment of office bearers should discuss the issue within the party than making noise in the media.
