Submitted by Kumuda on Sat, 2016-06-25 17:15 Bengaluru: Tumakuru Siddaganga math seer Shivakumara swamiji who was hospitalised for fever and fatigue is now discharged from BGS Global Hospital on Saturday. Doctors treating the seer said he was suffering from jaundice. However, after a day’s hospitalisation, 109-year-old seer is stable and even walked without any help to the waiting car. Devotees had thronged the hospital to meet the seer, however, the seer was safely guided to the car by the police. It is now learnt that the seer has left for Siddaganga math in Tumakuru and the police have ensured traffic-free stretch to Tumakuru. Earlier, doctors had performed endoscopy on the reluctant seer on Friday. Even in the hospital, the 109-year-old seer kept up with his morning puja rituals at the hospital ward itself. Although the doctors had advised him good rest, the seer – it is learnt – woke up early morning and performed the puja rituals. Speaking to mediapersons, Ananth Kumar who met the seer at the hospital said even before he enquired about his health, the seer sought to know the farmers’ condition in the state. Along with Ananth Kumar, his colleague DV Sadananda Gowda also visited the seer.
