High drama in Kudligi; Anupama Shenoy denies of having Facebook account

Submitted by Kumuda on Thu, 2016-06-09 15:43 Bengaluru: After all the buzz that Anupama Shenoy, Kudligi deputy superintendent of police, created on Facebook - following her resignation - Anupama has outrightly denied of having an account on Facebook. Speaking to mediapersons in Kudligi on Thursday, Anupama said "I have said it earlier, I do not have an account on Facebook." When reporters asked her that it was being updated every hour, she feigned ignorance. "I do not know who is updating it. Please ask those who are doing it," she said. She further said that she has not given any complaint about the account being hacked adding "do you think I will get justice from the government if I lodge a complaint?"On the much-speculated 'CD disclosure', "Please do not dig the same issue. When the time is right, will reveal it," Anupama told reporters in an angry tone. It may be recalled here that one of the FB posts - on Thursday - said why are you hankering about the CD disclosure raising doubts over her claim to possess the CD that purportedly spoke of labour minister Parameshwar Naik. While Anupama has categorically denied of being on the FB, how did she get to know about the CD's revelation when the reporters quizzed, belies logic. However, Anupama did not dwell much on this simply saying she will do it when the time is up. She further said that she was busy packing her luggage hence could not receive in-charge DySP RS Patil, who came to meet her in the morning. “I stand by my resignation and will not reconsider it,” said Anupama adding she will not approach Karnataka Administrative Tribunal as it was her personal choice to quit. "If I have done anything, CM can take action against me," she said. Anupama was expected to meet Ballary SP Chethan but she said she will not meet anyone instead will head home in Bhatkal.
