She was also suffering from breathing problems. The family admitted her to a private hospital in Kodigenahalli in Madhugiri taluk. Later, she was rushed to a government hospital where Rathnamma was brought dead. Since the government hospital lacked an ambulance, many suggested the Thimmappa family to hire a cab but they could not do so as they did not have enough money.Later, they shifted Rathnamma's body to their native, Veerapura after their friend lent his their two-wheeler to them.
