He was 78. Khoday who was suffering from diabetes-related complications had been receiving treatment for over a month at the Mallige Medical Care Centre, Madhavanagar. Khoday Lakshmansa Srihari, popularly known as Srihari Khoday, was born on April 26, 1938 and is the most recognisable faces in the state's industrial sector. He was a philanthropist too. Khoday had taken up the task of restoring and relocating the Sri Venugopala Swamy temple which was submerged after the Krishnaraja Sagar dam was built near Mysuru. Khoday has produced many movies, notably 'Mysuru Mallige' which won the National Award.
