Vithalgowda, an advocate has filed a sedition case (Sec 124, IPC) against the Congress leader and has also stated that her statements (on Pakistan) can incite violence.Meanwhile, Mysuru activists of Yuva Bharath organisation sent postcards to Ramya, asking her to leave the country and go to Pakistan. They raised slogans such as 'Ramya Hataao Desh Bachao'. All the letters written by the activists were addressed to Ramya's official residence in Mysuru..It may be recalled here that Ramya – after returning from Islamabad had stated that "Pakistan is not hell. People are just like us. They treated us very well." She was part of a delegation that attended SAARC young parliamentarians conference. Her statements have received widespread criticism from BJP and ABVP activists in the state. However, Ramya, in her defence has referred to the statements by RSS chief Mohan Bhagwat in her tweet. Mohan Bhagwatji of the RSS says that Pakistan is India's brother :)
