According to sources, Deepak and three of his friends were allegedly partying loudly on the road close to the coffee estate in Srimangala near Virajpet. When the estate owner Nandemada Teja told the youths to leave the place, Deepak allegedly picked up an argument saying he was a minister’s son. Soon, people gathered at the spot and tried to pacify both parties. But the youths, reportedly in an inebriated condition, continued to argue with the locals. Later, the estate owner and Deepak went to Srimangala police station, where the station sub-inspector managed to pacify both the parties and sent them back, sources said.
