Why Ramya is silent on rumours of her joining BJP?
Former Mandya MP has been maintaining low-profile after her mentor SM Krishna joined BJP
Bengaluru: Will Sandalwood actress-turned politician Ramya aka Divya Spandana follow in the footsteps of her mentor SM Krishna to BJP? Ever since the former Congress leader announced his decision to join the Saffron party, there have been rumours that former Mandya MP would also join him.
But Ramya has neither clarified and nor denied these rumours. In fact, Ramya who is very active on her social media accounts, has remained quiet for some time now. She has not tweeted anything since last December. This being viewed as her calculated move to avoid making any statements.
Meanwhile, a BJP worker has threatened to commit suicide, if she joins the party. It is also learnt that some party workers have written to the party state president BS Yeddyurappa not to induct Ramya into the party calling her an 'opportunist'.
