According to reports, Siddaramaiah is rumoured to be consulting with legal experts to reopen old cases against Yeddyurappa which were quashed by the High Court. Siddaramaiah is reportedly looking to file an appeal in this regard before the SC to corner Yedduyurappa. Siddaramaiah and Congress leaders  have been steadily embarrassed by the leaked diary, which allegedly mentions payments made by his cabinet colleagues to the high command.  With elections just over a year away, the Congress, now sure that the BJP is trying to malign the government, is gearing up for a bitter fight.
