Submitted by alvin on Sat, 2016-07-02 16:49 Bengaluru: Three boys, all minors, were stripped and beaten up mercilessly by a group of men who accused them of stealing money from a shop in Hoskote on Thursday. Later the group filmed the entire incident and circulated the video which has now gone viral. Though the boys’ parents filed a complaint against the local shopkeeper and his associates, the Hoskote police are yet to take action against the accused identified as Nooruddin, Mastan, Sameer and others. According to the police, a Class 9 student of government high school in Hoskote along with two of his friends had gone to the book store to buy a book. The owner caught the trio accusing them of stealing. Next, he called his associates and the group dragged the students to an isolated place, stripped them and thrashed them. The accused even caned the students due to which they sustained bruises on their bodies. While the boys cried for help, one member of the group recorded the entire incident on his mobile phone. After being released, the trio went home and narrated the incident to their parents, following which the parents took them to the hospital and subsequently informed the police. Meanwhile, the video began to circulate and went viral. The Hoskote police said they have arrested four men who were involved in this inhuman act.
