"There will be thunderstorms tomorrow as well. Monsoon will start in two or three days,” said Sundar Metri, Director, IMD.The BBMP control room received more than 100 calls and more than 50 rain-related complaints. Cases of water-logging were reported from low lying regions of Bilekahalli, Vijaya Bank Colony, Bannerghata Road, ISRO Layout at Vittala Nagar, Chandra Nagar Kumarswamy Layout, Muneshwar Temple near Hosakerehalli.Movement of traffic was also affected on Bannerghatta Road for more than an hour due to a tree-fall. Richmond Road, Tin factory, Inner Ring Road, JC Road, Old Madras Road, and Kasturi Nagar also noticed bumper-to-bumper traffic.
