Submitted by alvin on Sat, 2016-06-04 10:34 Bengaluru: The BHEL EPD has built a toilet complex comprising 16 toilets for boys and girls at the government primary school in Jalahalli, "This initiative by BHEL was completed last year. We handed over the complex to the school authorities. It has been built at a cost of Rs12.50 lakh under the CSR scheme,”said an official from BHEL. Earlier, the school had four toilets which were in a shabby condition. Now with the new toilets, as many as 1500 students will be benefit from the facility. The complex was handed over in the presence of S Raj Sabapathy, Executive Director (CBU) along with R Sriram, General Manager (EPD), and other CSR committee members of BHEL-EPD.
