Police said the accused Suresh, 38, a resident of Srirampura, had collected betting amount from people during the IPL match between Sun Risers Hyderabad and Gujarat Lions. They recovered Rs 56,400 cash, six mobile phones and a TV. A case is registered in Srirampura police station and probe is underway. Police raid lodge, arrest man for selling fake pearls Bengaluru: The CCB police have arrested a person from a lodge on the charge of selling fake pearls. The arrested has been identified as Sanjay, 44, a resident of Ramanagar, was trying to sell fake pearls in Chamarajpet. Based on a tip-off, the police raided a room in Prakash Cafe lodge and arrested Sanjay while his associate Magaranjith is on the run. Police recovered fake pearls and a silver pendant during the raid. A case has been registered in Chamrajpet police station.
