Kids, celebrities ramp-up efforts for a good cause

Submitted by Editor on Mon, 2016-05-23 16:27 Bengaluru: Scullers in association with Smile Foundation hosted the 10th edition of ‘Ramp for Champs’, an initiative to raise awareness and support for educating underprivileged kids.The event was graced by Sushruti Krishna (Miss India 2016), Elli Avram (Actress) and Vito Dell’ Erba (Creative Director, Future Lifestyle Fashion) among other celebrities from all walks of life, who walked the ramp along with the kids from Smile Foundation. The fashion show was choreographed by fashion guru Prasad Bidappa.‘Ramp for Champs’ is a unique concept aiming to build community engagement and raise awareness among people on the issue of education for the underprivileged children. The funds raised from the event will go towards the children’s education.Speaking on the occasion, Sujatha Raghunandan, Chief Brand Manager, Scullers, said, “Scullers, which stands for celebration of joy, optimism and new beginnings is excited to be associated with this event and dress the petite style icons. It is a joy to witness the smile on these innocent faces as they walk the ramp confidently spreading excitement.”Around 25 children walked the ramp showcasing the new Scullers Kids Spring Summer Collection. The kids were playfully dressed in trendy T-shirts, chinos, denims, tops, skirts and dresses from the collection that brings alive the colours of Mexico.
