They have now launched hunger strike at the Freedom Park from Wednesday. “But we will not disturb those who would like to provide the service,” said a member of the association.Interestingly, the protesters – after being denied to hold the protest – approached JD(S) state president HD Kumaraswamy and urged him to intervene with the police.Responding to their pleas, Kumaraswamy appealed to the police to allow them to protest claiming that he will take the complete responsibility of their protest. He further promised all help to the protesters.
