ATM in Nelamangala dispences Rs 2,000 fake currency

Submitted by alvin on Tue, 2017-02-14 12:13 Bengaluru: A man who withdrew Rs 2000 from an ATM on the outskirts of Nelamangala was shocked to find a fake note of Rs 2,000 denomination. Hemanth had withdrawn Rs 5,200 from the ATM belonging to HDFC bank at Channappa Layout in Nelamangala. One of the notes of Rs 2,000 denomination found out to be fake, reports Public TV. Hemanth could not approach the bank as it was holiday on Saturday and Sunday. When he approached HDFC bank officials on Monday, the officials allegedly failed to respond to his complaint, Hemanth complained.
