As many as 1,575 vehicles were registered daily in the city in Nov. Transport officials said vehicle numbers being registered didn't fall under the impact of demonetisation. Surprisingly, more vehicles were registered in November than in Sept. Another official said the festival month of Oct saw a huge surge in vehicle registrations due to offers. Transport vehicles, bikes and cars formed the bulk of registrations. A car dealer said attractive loans ensure steady sales. "Most of sales are done through online/cheque payments. So there is not much impact on vehicle sales," he said. No of vehicles added (Karnataka)November: 1,24,771October: 1,26,429September: 1,16,303No of vehicles added (Bengaluru)November: 45,970October: 55,863September: 45,238
