"We are making efforts to vacate the stay so that we can complete the project within two years. The steel bridge was conceived by the BJP government. The detailed project report was prepared only when the Congress government came to power," said George. The minister said the project had to be implemented to ease traffic flow towards the Kempegowda International Airport and also provide connectivity to Tumakuru Road, and Nagavara-Hennur roads. "People travelling to Hebbal and Yelahanka can also take this route. The spare parts and equipment necessary for the project will be manufactured in single unit," he added.
