The sheer scale of the wedding has turned it into the talk of the town. Sample this: A huge set modelled on some of the famous structures built by the Vijayanagar kings is taking shape at the Palace Grounds in the city. According to Sashidhar Adapa, who is recreating the magic of Vijayanagar Empire, it took them nearly two weeks to get the set, including the replica of Vittala Temple in Hampi, ready. Currently, finishing touches are being given to the structures, which are going to be ready in a day. "I know Janardhan Reddy from a decade and have done number of his events. Here, my contribution is only 20 percent. The organisers have planned a lot more surprises for families," said Adapa. Watch Video: To give a realistic touch, bullock carts and bulls have been designed and kept inside the palace. Apart from Adapa, Telugu art director Srinivas Raju, who is known for his art work at star weddings, has also designed many surprises. According to reports, the entire event is being organised and monitored by actor Sai Kumar, who is a good friend of Reddy. To maintain the secrecy about the event, security has been deployed and a notice has been put-up all over not to click photos and shoot videos. A source close to Reddy rubbished rumours of Rs500 crores being spent on the wedding, as the renting the palace costs only Rs6 lakhs for three days. “We are not making Bahubali film to spend so much money,” said the source. The source said that media would be invited for a short period to document the set. The three-day wedding will begin with a haldi ceremony on Nov 14, Sathyanarayana puja, engagement and sangeet on Nov 15, and the wedding on Nov 16.
