The army personnel, animal rights activists and villagers hope against hope that the pachyderm will be able to stand on his legs. The MEG members are also preparing for the big action and they might lift Sidda with the help of a crane. Watch Video: According to sources, he had been extremely co-operative with villagers, activists and veterinarians, who are doing everything to help him bounce back to life. The department has prepared a makeshift camp for him with a team veterinarians stationed over there. Blinded in both eyes and nursing a gangrene in his leg, Sidda has been in a sleeping position since he was rescued from the Manchanabele reservoir last month. However, he has been responding to the treatment and is showing an amazing spirit to live on by accepting food and water.
