The station has two platforms, ticketing office, shelters, benches and lighting facilities.A tender has been called for a foot overbridge between platform 1and 2 at a cost Rs 1.12 crore.Sanjiv Agarwal, Divisional Railway Manager, Bengaluru Division, said a total of 12 passenger trains will halt at the station to make commuting easier for IT professionals and others working in the area. After the techies staged a protest in December 2014, complaining about worsening traffic, the railways decided to takeup the project and provide a halt between KR Puram and Whitefield Railway Station. Work on Krishnadevaraya station, too, has commenced with support from Union minister Ananth Kumar’s MPLADS fund.
