This was evident when a platoon of Sashastra Seema Bal (SSB) who were on duty during the Mayoral polls at the BBMP premises were denied permission to use nearby public toilets. They were struggling to find a place to relieve themselves after being deployed on duty from morning to evening. With no other option, they were found wetting the BBMP compound wall. Their comrades were extra cautious to protect them from preying cameras. While it is not clear why they were denied permission to use public toilets, strangely, the security personnel too did not speak for their rights.
