Submitted by alvin on Tue, 2016-09-13 15:52 Bengaluru: The Cauvery row claimed its second  fatality on Tuesday as a 26-year-old man succumbed at a multi speciality hospital. The victim Kumar was a native of Kunigal in Tumakuru. He is survived with his pregnant wife, a kid and parents. He had sustained multiple fractures after he accidentally fell from the third floor of a building during a police lathi charge on Monday night. Police said that he was a barbender by profession and the incident occured when he was returning home. As the police were lathi charging the unruly mob and chased the mob, Kumar reportedly entered a building and went to the third floor as police chased him. In a bid to escape from the police, he accidentally fell from the thirf floor. It is said that he was admitted to the hospital only an hour after the incident. He was treated for multiple fractures but succumed on Tuesday afternoon. It is to be noted that Umesh (25), a native of Tumkuru died of police fire on Monday evening.  Umesh was a passer-by at Hegganahalli while some miscreants were arsoning police Hoysala vehicles. Police opened fire and bullets hit him badly and died in hospital in the night. Two others sustained injured in this incident.
