Submitted by alvin on Fri, 2016-08-26 19:26 Bengaluru: DK Suresh, MP, Bengaluru District (Rural), is in a spot of bother after a police sub-inspector alleged that the MP had humiliated him during a review meeting at the MP’s his residence on Thursday.The PSI, TR Srinivas, attached with the Attibele police station, has written a letter to the SP to take necessary action.In his complaint, Srinivas said the MP had called police officers of Anekal Taluk to his residence to discuss law and order issues.After the meeting, Suresh allegedly addressed the police official in a disrespectful manner and also accused him of collecting bribes. The PSI said in his complaint that he tried to reason with the MP but he was in no mood to listen.Reacting to the allegation, Suresh told the media that he had called police officials for a meeting following a series of complaints from the public regarding misuse of official power. “I discussed with the police officers on possible action to curb mugging and other criminal activities in general, but did not humiliate anyone. I heard about the complaint through the media. Let the concerned police officials conduct a detailed probe,” he said.
