Submitted by alvin on Mon, 2016-08-08 18:58 Bengaluru: Software engineer Sonal Haldar who was found dead in his flat at Shantiniketan Apartment last week could have died due to health complications, say his unconfirmed post-moretm reports. However, the Kadugodi police who are investigating into the case have not yet ruled out murder theory.Haldar’s body was found decompsed when his colleagues came to check at his residence on Friday. It is learnt that company had asked his colleagues to meet him as he did not attend the office for three days. The police had registered a case of suspicious death. His body was shifted to VIMS for postmortem and the doctors who conducted the autopsy told police unofficially that they found clots in his liver either due to excessive drinking and this could have led to his death. Police investigations reveal that Haldar was addicted to alcohol and drugs.Haldar was sharing his flat which had four rooms with three others. However, he and his flatmates were not close to each other and they lived separately in their respective roms.According to the police, the flatmates did not know much about Haldar. They came to know about his death when his colleagues had come searching for him.Police are now awaiting the autopsy report to know the exact cause of death.
