They have now initiated a signature campaign – through change.org – to draw the attention of the civic agency.“The road is always bustling with traffic and during peak hours it is next to impossible to cross the stretch. We have appealed to BBMP many a times to have foot over bridge here but the BBMP hasn’t responded,” said Giridhar Kulkarni, an employee at Prestige Tech Park.Lohith, another employee said, “At least 5,000 people work at Prestige Tech Park. It takes a minimum 10 to 15 minutes or even more to cross the road to reach office which is on the other side. Traffic is heavy on the stretch between 8 am and 10 am and also from 5 pm to 8 pm.” He further said that more than 2,000 people have signed the petition and another 1000 will sign which will be later presented to government officials.A few months ago, a similar campaign was initiated for a skywalk near RMZ and Eco Space which is 1.5 kms away from Prestige Park. Now, a skywalk is coming up on that road, Lohith added.
