Gold jewelry worth Rs 22 lakh goes missing from bank locker

It is said that gold ornaments were kept in eight packets in the Majbayal Service Cooperative Bank’s Bhagavathi temple branch. However, when a team of co-operative department officials visited the CPI-controlled bank, the ornaments were found to be missing. The co-operative department has launched an investigation even in other branches of the bank.
