Addressing at a meeting in his office on Monday, he asked officials to set up rehabilitation centres, gruel centres in every area to help those who might suffer due to flooding. Focus should be on areas which saw extensive flooding in previous years, said the DC and asked home guards and fire personnel to be ready for any eventuality.  Ibrahim also asked MESCOM officials to be alert  during the rainy season. "Attention should be paid to high-tension electric wire and dangerous electric poles should be replaced at the earliest," he said. Mescom officials informed that four teams had been formed at Ullal, Kulashekhar, Managudda and Attavar to maintain vigil on all areas. A jeep with essential materials has been kept on stand-by to give service to the public round the clock, officials informed. Superintendent of Police Bhushan S Borase asked officials to collect the numbers of JCB operators since landslides are  common during the rainy season.
