The last rites will be held at Beedinagudde on Friday, said family sources. Shenoy had painstakingly created the heritage village restoring and relocating traditional, ancient old buildings and artefacts through Hasta Shilpa Trust. A retired banker, Shenoy has so far restored 28 structures - traditional houses, palaces, art galleries and museums - at the six-acre site near Manipal, popularly known as heritage village. Some of the palaces that he restored include Kamal Mahal of Kukanoor near Koppal, Deccani Nawab Mahal and Mudhol Palace. The Heritage village attracts tourists from across the world.
