Submitted by alvin on Sat, 2016-11-12 17:41 Udupi: A nonagenarian, Gopal Shetty who was endlessly waiting in queue to withdraw money from bank, collapsed and died in front Corporation bank here on Saturday. Shetty (96) was a resident of Ajekar village and was waiting to exchange demonetized currencies. He collapsed around noon and died on the spot. Although, he was rushed to nearby hospital but he was declared brought dead. He is survived by Sudhakar Shetty, founder of Jnana Sudha Educational Institution of Karkala.
