Bhaskar Shetty case: Rajeshwari bought pepper spray a day before the murder

According to police, wife Rajeshwari had allegedly used pepper spray to disorient her husband before her son Navaneeth struck his father with an iron rod.  Rajeshwari allegedly purchased the pepper spray from Radha Medicals, a pharmacy located near Udupi bus stand, on July 27 – the day before the murder. Rajeshwari went to the medical shop with two others, said the police, adding that the spray could have been used to disorient Shetty before killing him.Police are trying to find out the identity of the other two persons who were seated in the car. CCTV attached to the building has recorded the visuals of Rajeshwari's visit to the medical shop and that is now with the police.On Friday, the police took Rajeshwari to the Radha medicals to collect evidence. Later, Rajeshwari and her son Navaneeth Shetty were taken to the court which extended their police custody till August 16.
