At least I would have cremated my son if I had his body but I am not fortunate to have it. I still cannot believe that my son is dead,” she said on Tuesday. Gulabi Shetty sought help to secure justice to her son who was killed in the most brutal way. “I do not want any wealth but my son back. His wife never allowed him to be with us and he was daily visiting me. I am fed up of requesting the police for his body or remains, so we can perform the pay last rites according to Bunt traditions,” she said. Bhaskar Shetty, a hotelier who had assets worth Rs300 cr, including six super markets in Gulf countries and a shopping mall in Udupi, was recently found murdered. The main suspects in the murder are his own wife, son, and a local astrologer.
