24-year-old held for selling ganja

Submitted by alvin on Mon, 2016-07-04 16:13 Mangaluru: A 24-year-old was arrested by the crime branch of the city police on Sunday for supplying drugs to students and the city youth.  The accused Abdul Jabbar, 24, a resident of Adyar village, sold ganja in front of an engineering and management collage at Adyar, said the police. Police nabbed him when he was supplying drugs, said police chief M Chendra Shekar, adding that ganja worth 30,000 along with a cell phone and a scooter had been seized from Abdul.  Chendra Shekar said Bantwal Rural and Mangaluru Rural Police Stations had registered cases against Jabbar for selling ganja.
