Khader pulls up dist health officers

He observed that hotels have not been directed to serve hot water during this season to prevent epidemic diseases. This laxity on the part of officials will not be tolerated, he added. He further asked the officials to hold cleanliness awareness programme in villages with the help of colleges. On complaints that patients visiting government hospitals are sent to private labs for blood tests and other procedures, Khader directed the authorities to ensure services are provided at the hospital, free of cost. If the government hospital lacks such amenities, they can send it to district headquarters, he added.
