Rev. Dr Thomas Antony Vazhpillai (Bishop Of Mysore), Rev Fr Mari Joseph (VG) and several others. In his homily, the Bishop asked devotees to emulate Saint Anthony in this Year of Mercy. “Our faith should be as Saint Antony’s. Only then we will be able to attain mercy and show mercy to others,” said the Bishop. “Visiting shrines is very important as they help to strengthen and deepen our faith. Forgiveness doesn’t mean that there is no justice, but forgiveness and justice go hand in hand.” Rev Fr Gilbert D'Silva was felicitated by the Bishop of Mysuru for his service at the shrine.
