CM's wife, son offer puja at Chamundi temple

Submitted by alvin on Fri, 2016-07-22 20:25 Mysuru: Devotees thronged the Chamundi Hill temple to seek the blessings of goddess Chamundeshwari on the third Ashada on Friday. The visitors included Chief Minister Siddaramaiah's wife Parvathamma and son, Dr. YatheendraSpecial puja rituals commenced at 3.30 am and devotees were allowed for darshan from 5.30 am. At 10 am, the presiding deity in 'Durgi Alankara' was taken out in a procession around the temple which was decorated with colourful flowers.
