Twenty 20 members from World Vets, USA, are participating in the camp. Free birth control surgeries were performed and anti-rabies vaccination also administered to stray dogs and cats during the camp.About 20 veterinarians led by Dr Gangadhar Patil examined about 70 stray dogs housed in PFA shelter and also some pets at the Vet Clinic. PFA volunteers also urged the public to bring their pets to administer anti-rabies vaccination to prevent their pets from falling prey to rabies. This is for the first time that World Vets are conducting such camp in the country. The camp was inaugurated by Swami Vivekananda Youth Movement Founder Dr R Balasubramanium.
