Submitted by alvin on Fri, 2016-06-10 14:10 Jeddah: Considering that the non-resident Indians are barred from appearing for CET conducted by the Karnataka government, Karnataka Non Resident Indian Forum (KNRIF) president Roshan Rodrigues stated that he would strive to get permission for NRI students to appear in the CET examination. He was speaking at the 8th annual general body meeting of the forum in Jeddah. Aijaz Ahmed, general secretary of the forum, made a presentation of the activities undertaken in the last year (2015-16). Significant among them were money collected for the flood victims of Chennai, Karnataka Nobel Trophy cricket tournament organised jointly with Jamiath ul Falah, celebration of the state annual day and other activities in the service of the community. Roshan Rodrigues was elected president unanimously for a record third term.
