Prakash Noronha elected president of MCC

Submitted by alvin on Mon, 2016-06-06 17:17 Doha: At the annual general meeting of Mangalore Cricket Club (MCC), Prakash Noronha was elected as the new president of the club. The meeting was convened at Ashoka Hall, ICC premises. During the meeting, joint general secretary Raj Maxim Rodrigues presented a detailed report on Club’s activities while treasurer, Ronald Saldanha tabled the audited financial report. Outgoing president Norbert Corda briefed on the success story of last year’s activities and thanked every member, advisory committee and members for their continued support. Richard D’Souza, past president and the club’s advisor officiated the election of the new committee.  The new executive committee is as follows: Prakash Noronha (president), Ronald Saldanha (vice president), Riana Pinto (general secretary), Prabha Rego (cultural secretary), Cyril D’Souza (sports secretary), Treza Goveas (membership secretary), Joachim D’Souza (Treasurer), Denzil Christen Lobo (facilities and arrangements secretary), Vivian D’Souza (PRO), Ryan Renjar (joint secretary), Lyarlin Shilpa Rodrigues (joint cultural secretary), Naveen D’Souza (joint sports secretary) and Melvyn Pinto (joint facilities and arrangement secretary). Sub-committees to assist the executive committee were also formed on the occasion - cultural team –  Naveen D’Souza, Della Rego, Rita Andrade
