Submitted by alvin on Thu, 2016-05-26 11:10 Bengaluru:The CBSE on Wednesday issued a notification for the holding phase II of NEET on July 24. As per the notification, examination-related process will start on Thursday. Students applying for NEET will be eligible for All-India quota seats, state government quota seats and private/management/NRI quota seats in private medical/dental colleges or any private/deemed university. CBSE said that as per the directives of Supreme Court and the ordinance promulgated by the Centre on May 24, CBSE will start the process of online application for NEET (UG), 2016 from May 26 for admission in MBBS/BDS courses. As per the directives of the SC, left out candidates who could not register for AIPMT-2016/NEET-I, candidates who were registered for AIPMT-2016/NEET-I but could not appear for NEET-I and the candidates who registered for AIPMT-2016/NEET-I and had appeared but apprehensive over their performance have to give an undertaking to give up their candidature for NEET-I before they can apply in NEET-II. Information regarding test, syllabus and eligibility criteria will be available on www.aipmt.nic.in. Online application could be submitted on www.aipmt.nic.in.
