Results will be made available online only on pu.kar.nic.in and karresults.nic.in after 12 noon. But the delay in the investigation into the paper leak has meant that even those students who allegedly benefited from the leak will also get their results. Around 60 to 70 students — kin of rich businessmen, officials — had allegedly received question papers of II PUC final examination well in advance. But the CID is yet to name them as accused. PU department director Ramegowda said once they receive the CID report, they can cancel the result of students named in the report immediately. “We can withdraw the marks card of any student at any time even after announcing the results,” said Mr. Ramegowda, director, PU department. An officer from the PU department said getting hold of question paper prior to examination by paying money was akin to examination malpractice. “Students are equally responsible for this scam. CID and state government must act immediately and cancel the examination results of all the students,” he said.
