Bearys Cultural Forum felicitates Abdul Khader Emkay in Dubai

Submitted by alvin on Wed, 2016-06-01 11:40 Dubai: Bearys Cultural Forum, UAE and India, in association with Abdul Latif Mulky, Vice- President, hosting a dinner in honour of entrepreneur Abdul Khader Emkay at a hotel in Dubai, where he was also presented with an award in recognition of his services to the community. Abdul Khader is a well-known social worker in coastal Karnataka, a Janata Dal leader, former president of Shafi Juma Masjid Mulky and the Managing Director of EMKAY Enterprises, EMKAY Plyboards and Crops Care (India) Products. Abdul Jaleel, Managing Partner, EMKAY Enterprises was also present. On receiving the award, Abdul Khader said that he was highly delighted to accept the honour. He said he would always support BCF as it had done a lot for the cause of poor people in Karnataka.Providing an overview on the activities of Bearys Cultural Forum in the UAE and India, Dr. Kaup said the BCF’s main objective was to “promote, educate and create social, cultural and educational awareness amongst the Bearys and the downtrodden population of the coastal Karnataka State and the UAE”. He said BCF regularly conducted cultural, sports, talent search, educational activities every year and also provided educational scholarship to the poor students.President of BCF Dr Yusuf also applauded the work done by Abdul Khader Emkay. Abdul Lathif Mulky, Vice-President, BCF, thanked Abdul Khader Emkay for attending the felicitation ceremony and requested the guests and members to attend BCF's Iftar Meet 2016. The Invitation for BCF's Iftar Meet 2016 was released by Abdul Khader Emkay and BK Yusuf along with all the members of the BCF Executive Committee. ME Moolur also briefed about the upcoming scholarship function scheduled to be held in Mangalore on Aug 21 2016. He requested all the people to submit their application for scholarship before 15th June 2016. MB Akbar proposed the vote of thanks while Abdul Lathif Mulky hosted the dinner.
