Reddy was produced at 6th ACMM court on Tuesday morning and the police requested the judge to hand Reddy over to their custody as they need to do spot inspection along with the accused and reconstruct the crime scene. The police told the court that Reddy had confessed to attacking Jyothi in Corporation bank’s ATM kiosk three years ago. The police need to formally organise the identification parade where Jyothi has to identify the attacker. Police said they would take Reddy to all the places he visited. "We will also go to Anantpur in Andhra Pradesh as Reddy had sold Jyothi’s phone to one of the shopkeepers over there. His custody ends on March 14. We will finish our investigation before that and file the charge sheet," said a police official.
