Submitted by alvin on Thu, 2017-02-02 20:50 Bengaluru: A 26-year-old Ugandan woman was stabbed to death by a M.Tech student in alleged dispute involving payment for sex in the city on Thursday. But the woman’s friends questioned the police version. They alleged that she was killed while resisting the student who was trying to rape her. The accused has been identified as Ishan, a native of Himachal Pradesh. The incident took place the deceased’s house in Kothanur in the early hours of Thursday. Accused Ishan According to the police, the deceased, Nakayiki Florence, met Ishan on MG Road. Later, the two left for the former’s house in Thimmegowda layout after Ishan promised to pay Rs5,000 for sex. Police said the trouble started when Florence demanded Rs10,000 claiming that she had sex with Ishan twice. A heated exchange ensued and Florence threatened Ishan at knife point and even wounded him. As the situation worsened, Ishan snatched the knife and stabbed her to death. But Florence’s friends disputed the police version. Her friends claimed on FB that she had been killed while fighting back as Ishan wanted to rape her. “Florence was killed yesterday in India, province of Bangalore after being attacked by unknown Indian man in her room. The guy wanted to rape her and when she tried to fight back the guy pierced her with a knife,” said the post in FB.
