Submitted by Rashmi on Wed, 2016-12-28 18:31 Bengaluru: A bank employee who was suspended for allegedly helping in money laundering found dead at his Viveknagar residence, here on Wednesday. The deceased is identified as Raviraj, head cashier at the State Bank of Mysore, Avenue Road. It is said that Raviraj allegedly helped Malabari in converting black money amounting to Rs 20 lakh to white money. His name figured in the FIR filed by CBI sleuths. Following this, the bank officials had suspended Ravi Raj. Sources said, when the suspension notice reached his home, Ravi Raj had gone out for walking on Wednesday morning. After his return, he took the letter and locked himself up in his room. His wife's repeated knocks on the door went in vain. He was found hanging in his room. Viveknagar police rushed to spot and further investigation is on.
