Money laundering for Janardhana Reddy: Teams formed to probe driver

Submitted by alvin on Thu, 2016-12-08 14:42 Mandya: A day after a driver of a KAS officer committed suicide, the police have formed three teams to nab the accused.Ramesh Gowda allegedly committed suicide after getting death threats for being witness to the money laundering by Bheema Naik, a special land acquisition officer. Gowda was working for Naik as driver. In his death note, he alleged that Naik allegedly laundered Rs 100 crore of former minister Janardhan Reddy during his daughter's wedding. The police have recovered CCTV images from the lodge where Gowda committed suicide. Also, officials from Anti-Corruption Bureau and Income Tax have been informed about the case since Gowda mentioned about money laundering, said Superintendent of Police Sudhir Kumar Reddy.
