When the patrolling police from Cubbon Park station asked the management to shut down, the duo argued with the police. When the police began recording the party in the pub, infuriated Somashekhar Gowda tried to snatch the phone and even assaulted the police. MLA Kashappanavar hurled abuses at the cops and threatened them with dire consequences.Following a complaint, the case was referred to the CCB for a detailed probe. The CCB officials sent the CCTV footage to the FSL lab in Hyderabad for a digital analysis which found Kashappanavar’s involvement. Based on it, he was named as A2 ( co accused) in the case and Somashekhar Gowda as prime accused.
