Submitted by alvin on Wed, 2016-08-24 17:59 Bengaluru: A 20-year-old student riding pillion was killed and the bike rider seriously injured when a speeding truck knocked down their motorcycle at Vidyanagara flyover on Tuesdaynight. The deceased has been identified as Vidheesha Prakash, who hailed from Allahabad and was a resident of Yelahanka New Town. Vidheesha was a student at the Srishti Institute of Art and Design. The bike rider has been identified as her classmate Harsha, 20, a resident of Hyderabad. According to police, the accident took place around 11.30pm when the duo was heading towards the Kempegowda International Airport. A lorry heading in the same direction rammed the motorcycle from behind. Both Harsha and Vidheesha sustained severe injuries in the accident and were rushed to a nearby private hospital, where doctors declared Vidheesha declared brought dead.
