The video of this unbelievable scene was posted by former ACP Lavakumar on his Facebook page. In the video, the woman in question Archana Gupta is seen holding a machete and calling somebody over phone, asking him to bring men to come to the site. Claiming to own part of the land where the real estate group Vasvani was going to construct a building, the woman threatened contractors and works belonging to the Vasvani group. “The woman came there along with some men and threatened our contractors.” “In more than three decades of my service, I did not come across a situation like this,” Lavakumar wrote in his FB post. “That woman was terrorising construction workers and some of my colleagues. She was calling someone on a mobile phone to bring hundreds of men with weapons within ten minutes, saying she want to see some heads roll.” The former ACP said he had sent the video grab of incident to the Bangalore Police Commissioner’s WhatsApp number 948080100 and also met him in person seeking action against her. “Prompt action was taken by registering a case against this woman and her henchmen under the appropriate sections of law of the Indian Penal Code and Arms Act,” he said. “The woman is currently absconding as she is trying for anticipatory bail as she has been booked under unlawful assembly (IPC 143), criminal intimidation under IPC 506, which are non-bailable offences,” wrote Lavakumar.
