Submitted by alvin on Tue, 2016-07-05 20:15 Bengaluru: Two fraudsters, who allegedly printed fake stamp papers and cheated people by creating fake land documents, have been arrested by the CCB police. The accused have been identified as Narayanaswamy, 48, a resident of Hoskote in Benglauru Rural district, and Kumar, 45, a resident of Vyalikaval. Police said the duo was involved in printing fake stamp papers and created fake documents related to agricultural lands and residential plots dating back to 30-40 years. Using the fake documents, they cheated people by selling land belonging to others. Based on credible information, they were arrested near Malleshwaram V Cross. Cash worth Rs28,000 and fake stamp papers of various denominations were seized from the accused. A case is registered in Malleshwaram police station in this connection.
